Storm Eowyn Hits Scotland – 24 January 2025
On 24th January 2025, Storm Eowyn battered Scotland with extreme winds and terrifying force. In this video, you’ll hear the relentless gusts striking the roof of my building – at times it felt like the entire roof might lift off. The loud banging and howling winds captured here reflect just how intense and frightening this storm truly was.
Many homes on my street suffered severe roof damage, and while my building managed to avoid the worst of it, I still lost a fence and part of the brick fascia. Repairs will be costly, but I’m grateful things weren’t worse.
This is without a doubt the strongest storm I’ve experienced in my lifetime – a chilling reminder of the power of nature.
