A relaxed stroll from the outskirts of Dalry into the heart of town on a warm summer day
Join me on a casual summer walk from the outskirts of Dalry into the town centre. I began at one of the highest points on the south east side where the open views over the countryside were calm and picturesque under the warm afternoon sun.
The route took me gently downhill through a quiet housing estate with only the sound of birdsong and the occasional breeze in the trees. I crossed the small river that runs through Dalry before reaching the familiar streets of the town centre.
It was a simple and peaceful walk that reminded me how nice it is to slow down and enjoy the surroundings especially on such a beautiful day.
