A lovely summer’s day walking on the outskirts of Dalry, Scotland. The happy sounds of the countryside
On this warm summer’s day, I set out for a walk on the outskirts of Dalry in the Scottish countryside. The air was full of sound – birds calling from the trees, a burn trickling nearby, and the soft rustle of the breeze moving through the grass. Sheep grazed in the fields, with the lambs adding their playful bleats to the mix.
It was one of those afternoons where you just slow down, take your time, and enjoy being out in nature. I loved how the light fell across the fields and how alive the countryside felt with all those natural sounds. This walk was as much about listening as it was about walking – a chance to soak up the peace, the atmosphere, and the small details that make summer in rural Scotland so special.
