Peaceful walk through Paisley’s historic Woodside Cemetery’s grounds.
On this warm summer’s day, I take a peaceful walk to and through Woodside Cemetery in Paisley, Renfrewshire. Cemeteries are often thought of as dark or spooky places, but as I wandered along the tree-lined paths and among the gravestones, I found it to be calm, reflective, and full of quiet dignity.
As I walked, I shared some personal thoughts on childhood, memory, and the passage of time, letting the atmosphere of the place guide the reflections. The soft summer light and the natural sounds around me made it feel more like a park of remembrance than a place of fear.
This walk captures the stillness and beauty of one of Paisley’s most historic spots, and shows how cemeteries can be places of peace as well as memory.
